My dads Birthday

Nick and I went over to my parents house to give my dad his birthday present! For his special day we thought it would be perfect (with them coming back from Navoo) to get him a authentic replica of the Book of Mormon. It's really cool, it looks just like it. But the best part was that we were right! It was a totally appropriate gift for him. He loved it!


Happy Birthday Dad! We love you, and are so grateful for all you do! You are the BEST dad ever, and you desereve the best day ever! Happy Birthday to you!!!

October Fest

We went to the October Fest with Nicks mom and friend. We looked at all the shops and had some German food. The weather was WONDERFUL! It was so nice and cool/breezy. If you haven't gone you need to, there is a lot to see and it's fun for the whole family.

Girls Lunch Out

On friday five out of the six of us girls at work went out to eat. We went to Red Robin and had a blast! We had plenty of yummy food and some good laughs! I love the girls I work with. We are all good friends and can always make work fun! A definate must-do-again!

Jeremey 's Home!

My brother Jeremey got home from his Reserve training! The whole family was so excited. As siblings we all went out to lunch down town at the Rio Grande. It was so much fun to see him, hear his stories and have him home!

Nick The Cook

My husband is so creative! Nick loves to make deserts! Here's Nick making vanilla pudding. But really my man can cook! We were at Costco the other night looking at all of the cook books and we both fell in love with the Hershey's cook book. We just had to get it. Well, last night Nick whips out the book and turn to the first recipe and makes English tofee chocolate chips bars! They are amazing, sorry were not sharing. LOL!

Going Green$

Over the past few months my parents and I have been saving alumminum cans. I knew there wasn't a huge profit in it, but it's good for the enviroment. Also I was guessing I would get around 10 bucks, and that sounded easy enough to me. Well The time came wher we just couldn't hold an more cans. So my dad and I drove to a metal recycling center. They weighted our cans, and gues what?! We were so good we saved up to 8 lbs in alumminum! I have to say that is pretty impressive. But when we went to the office to be rang up... 8 lbs only comes to 4.00$! Yeah my dad was so generous he let me keep our shared profit! LOL!!!! So even though it's defintly not a money making move, it is good for the enviroment. And I did get a good laugh out of all of this!

Our Wednesday

Last night Nick and I watched Wesley and Skylie while Jen and MArk went out to dinner for their ann. We had so much fun we had dinner together, went to the pool, Played at the park and came back and watched some of the Prince of Egypt with popcorn!
